Roles & Responsibilities

  • Conduct routine inspections of elevators and escalators to ensure optimal functionality and safety standards are met.
  • Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical and electrical issues, using specialized tools to perform repairs promptly.
  • Maintain detailed records of maintenance activities, repairs, and inspections to ensure compliance with industry regulations.
  • Collaborate with other technicians and contractors to facilitate major repairs or upgrades to elevator systems.

Desired Candidate Profile

  • High school diploma or equivalent; technical degree in electrical or mechanical engineering preferred.
  • Minimum of 3 years of hands-on experience in elevator maintenance or a related field is essential.
  • Relevant certifications, such as National Elevator Industry Educational Program (NEIEP) or equivalent, are highly desirable.
  • Ability to read and interpret schematics, blueprints, and technical manuals for various elevator systems.
