Job Description

Roles & Responsibilities

Responsible for high level of customer satisfaction.

- Functional and disciplinary leadership of the Service Team.

- Responsible for developing the personnel ensuring their motivation, continuous

development and achievement against Global targets

- Coaching the technical-oriented Supervisors of today, to be customer-, service- and

Result-oriented Line Managers

- Selection of personnel, training and continuous qualification of the employees

- Dealing with complaints as well as a continuous supervision of the customer satisfaction

- Developing actions on the basis of provided market analysis. Creating the business plan

- including budget planning and budget control for the individual Service Supervisors and

possibly

. Service repairs

Responsible for sales in the Service Sector

Responsibility and monitoring of the sales results including a continuous analysis and

coordination of the sales and return target in order to secure the portfolio (unit and value)

The Service Operations Manager also ensures that:

Service Supervisors allocate the fitters on the basis of precise maintenance planning and routing.

Service Supervisors / fitters and subcontractors get the statutory safety instructions.

Fitters provide the services as agreed in the contract.

Agreed dates for maintenance are met.

Handover from Installation to Maintenance runs orderly after receiving Quality report W/O comments.

Analysis and problem solving.

Quality focus

Sets high quality standards for their personal output. Encourages others to meet high quality

Standards of work. Checks own output or that of others to ensure quality standards are met.

Desired Candidate Profile

  • Minimum of 10 years of experience in elevator or escalator maintenance management.
  • Proven ability to supervise and lead technical teams in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong understanding of elevator and escalator systems, components, and safety standards.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills with a proactive approach to maintenance challenges.
  • Effective communication skills for client interaction and team coordination.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and work under pressure to meet deadlines.
  • Familiarity with preventive maintenance planning and execution.
  • Experience in maintaining accurate records and preparing technical reports.
  • Commitment to upholding safety and quality standards at all times.
  • Availability to respond to urgent maintenance issues as required.
