Job Description

Roles & Responsibilities

Key Responsibilities:
Install, configure, test, and maintain ELV systems including CCTV surveillance, access control, fire alarm systems, public address (PA), and building automation systems.
Troubleshoot and repair faults in ELV systems promptly to minimize downtime.
Carry out regular inspections and preventive maintenance of ELV equipment and wiring.
Work with structured cabling systems and ensure proper termination and routing of cables.
Collaborate with other trades, contractors, and clients to ensure seamless integration and operation of ELV systems.
Maintain accurate service logs, installation reports, and documentation.
Ensure all work complies with safety standards and local regulations.
Provide technical support and training to end-users or junior technicians as required.
Stay updated on the latest technologies and best practices in ELV systems./p>

Desired Candidate Profile

We are seeking an experienced Extra Low Voltage (ELV) Technician with 5 10 years of proven expertise in installing, maintaining, and troubleshooting ELV systems. The ideal candidate will ensure the effective operation of critical security, communication, and automation systems in commercial or residential facilities. This role requires strong technical knowledge, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Qualifications, Experience & Skills:
Diploma or certification in Electrical Engineering, Electronics, or a related field.
5-10 years of hands-on experience working as an ELV Technician or similar role.
Strong knowledge of ELV systems such as CCTV, access control, fire alarms, PA systems, and building automation.
Proficient in handling wiring, cabling, and hardware associated with low voltage systems.
Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, schematics, and manuals.
Familiarity with Qatar s safety codes and standards related to ELV installations.
Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
Good communication skills and ability to work collaboratively.
Must be locally available in Qatar with a valid visa and QID.
