Job Summary:

The Embryologist is responsible for performing all clinical and laboratory procedures related to assisted reproductive technologies (ART), ensuring the highest standards of care, safety, and compliance. This includes handling gametes and embryos, performing IVF and ICSI, embryo culture and grading, cryopreservation, and supporting embryo transfer procedures. The role also involves contributing to quality control, lab management, and continuous improvement of clinical outcomes.

Key Responsibilities

• :Perform routine and advanced ART procedures including sperm preparation, oocyte handling, fertilization (IVF/ICSI), embryo culture, grading, and cryopreservation
• .Support egg retrieval and embryo transfer procedures in coordination with clinical teams
• .Maintain strict adherence to laboratory protocols, infection control measures, and safety standards
• .Accurately document and track all laboratory activities using electronic or manual records
• .Monitor and maintain equipment, incubators, and lab environment conditions
• .Participate in laboratory quality assurance, audits, and accreditation processes
• .Contribute to protocol optimization, case reviews, and outcome analysis
• .Provide guidance and training to junior embryologists and lab staff (as applicable)
• .Ensure compliance with national regulations, licensing requirements, and ethical guidelines
