Job Description

1. Responds to the medical emergency calls, drives to the scene and provides basic and advanced  life support to the victims before they are transported to the hospital. 

1. Evaluates the nature and extent of illness/injury to determine the right course of actions. Conduct patient assessment, including interpretation of ECG.

1.      Rescuing and extricating victims of accidents, sudden illness or entrapment using proper 

                           rescue and medical techniques.

1.      Communicating with  medical personnel and treatment facilities to obtain   

     instructions regarding further treatment and/or to arrange reception of patients to the 

     appropriate facility.

1. Manages critically injured/ill patients by providing medical aid such as AED/Defibrillator, provide CPR, proper  techniques to control  bleeding and shock and stabilize the condition.

2. Perform Peripheral intravenous cannulation and administer intravenous medications except Narcotics and controlled medications

3. Administers crystalloid IV solutions 

4. Administers Glucagon Hypokit for hypoglycemia

5. Administration of activated charcoal, oral glucose and oxygen.
