Job Description
Roles & Responsibilities
In South Lebanon the humanitarian situation remains an emergency one, with heavy displacement and several areas characterized by access constraints. SI is implementing different emergency projects, all short-term and all needing rapid implementation to ensure credibility towards donors to have longer-term opportunities. The Programmes team in the South and in the MEAL Department are small and needs supervision.
The main challenges: Ensure full and quality implementation of the emergency projects (distributions, cash aspects) in the South, ensure adequate MEAL planning and implementation for the emergency projects at large (North included)
Education / academic background: Bachelor s degree in Relevant Field
Specific skills and experience:
Technical skills
- Very solid programme and project cycle management skills
- Strong staff management skills
- Proven knowledge of core SI MEAL practices and standards
- Experience in FSL intervention desirable
Transversal skills
- Highly organized with the ability to prioritize multi tasks effectively
- Experience in management of diverse teams
- Able to work autonomously, with strong time-management skills
- Excellent communication skills (written and verbal)
- Strong team Management and teamwork abilities
- Ability to perform effectively under pressure and in challenging context
- Detail-oriented and solution-oriented
