Job Description
Roles & Responsibilities
1. Medical Insurance Operations
- Manages end-to-end medical insurance lifecycle including enrolment, renewals, upgrades, and disenrollment.
- Ensures accurate and timely submission of employee data to insurance providers and brokers.
- Maintains and regularly updates the employee insurance census database.
- Reviews, verifies medical insurance invoices to ensure accuracy and compliance prior to Finance processing.
- Ensures compliance with company policies and insurance agreements.
2. Employee Support & Case Management
- Acts as the main point of contact for employees regarding medical insurance queries.
- Provides clear guidance on coverage, claims, approvals, and network providers.
- Handles and escalates complex and critical medical cases with providers and brokers.
- Ensures timely resolution of employee issues and maintain high service satisfaction levels.
3. Medical Approvals & System Management
- Facilitates and follows up on medical approvals through designated platforms.
- Tracks and monitors pending approvals and claims to ensure timely closure.
- Supports employees in using insurance portals and mobile applications effectively.
4. Stakeholder & Vendor Management
- Liaises with insurance companies, brokers, and healthcare providers on a daily basis.
- Builds strong working relationships to ensure priority handling and service quality.
- Conducts regular meetings with providers to review service performance and issues.
5. Reporting & Data Analysis
- Extracts and analyses data related to:
- Enrolments and census
- Claims and approvals
- Medical consumption trends
- Prepares monthly and quarterly reports with insights and recommendations.
- Conducts quarterly medical consumption analysis, highlighting trends, risks, and cost drivers.
- Provides data-driven recommendations to support cost optimization and policy improvements.
6. Employee Awareness & Engagement
- Supports P&O team on inquiries from Employees as well as new joiners on medical insurance usage.
- Organizes awareness sessions covering:
- Claims process
- Mobile applications
- Chronic medication approvals
- Leads medical campaigns (e.g., health check-ups, awareness days) in coordination with providers.
7. Employee Services
- Support rig operations employees in providing them with all non-salary related letters including but not limited to experience certificates, salary certificates, visa/embassy related letters.
- Manage documentation of the letters using Oracle Fusion cloud or Laserfiche systems
Desired Candidate Profile
Bachelor s degree in business administration, HR, or related field.
- 5 7 years of experience in medical insurance or employee benefits administration.
- Experience working with insurance providers, brokers, or TPAs (e.g., Medright) is a must.
- Experience in Shared Services or multi-entity environments is a strong advantage.
