Job Description
Roles & Responsibilities
Manage and oversee unclaimed, abandoned, and lost funds, ensuring proper custody and compliance with applicable regulations.
Supervise fund transfers, documentation, database management, and regulatory follow-up in accordance with approved policies and legal requirements.
Develop, update, and implement policies and procedures governing the management of such funds.
Establish and monitor process workflows, procedural documentation, templates, and internal control mechanisms to ensure operational efficiency.
Lead, supervise, and evaluate Section staff, delegate responsibilities, and ensure adherence to approved standards and internal regulations.
Prepare periodic reports, support continuous improvement initiatives, and oversee projects aimed at enhancing operational performance and compliance.
Desired Candidate Profile
A Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field is required, providing a strong foundation in financial principles.
Possession of a CFA, CAIA, or other relevant professional certifications is highly preferred, demonstrating a commitment to investment expertise.
Minimum of 6 years of progressive experience in endowment management, investment management, or a related field is essential, showcasing proven experience.
Experience within the non-profit or higher education sector is preferred, providing a strong understanding of endowment-specific needs.
Demonstrated proficiency in financial modeling, analysis, and reporting tools is crucial, enabling data-driven decision-making.
