Engineer – Engineering Transformer & Reactors BUREAU VERITAS -DUBAI BR

Conduct engineering studies related to Transformer & Reactor systems and provide well-supported recommendations based on study results.

Prepare clear and comprehensive scope of work documents aligned with Project Parameter Reports, ensuring full coverage of requirements and eliminating ambiguity for bidders.

Review amendments, technical queries, deviations, and bidder submissions during tendering.

Review and comment on design drawings, documents, BIM models, and vendor submittals to ensure compliance with specifications, qualification methodology, and scope.

Finalize non-compliance notes.

Attend factory inspections and ensure materials comply with approvals and international standards.

Document inspection observations and recommend Dispatch Clearance.

Participate in design, technical, and progress meetings to address engineering issues and maintain project progress.

Liaise with user departments to resolve technical issues and ensure compliance with project requirements.

Raise change requests for updates to technical specifications for future turnkey projects, considering optimization, standardization, market conditions, and lessons learned.

Support product conformity assessments and ensure products meet specifications and international standards.

Assist in investigating issues reported through failure feedback mechanisms.

Conduct site visits and quality audits to verify work aligns with approvals.

Participate in site investigations of failed equipment.

Contribute to corporate excellence by sharing knowledge and supporting continual improvement.

Ensure strict confidentiality of information during and after employment.

Adhere to OH&S Management System Manual and maintain safety standards.

Execute any additional tasks assigned by the reporting manager.
