Job Description

Roles & Responsibilities

To provide shift-based first level support on 24/7 basis for AI based alarm handling of fixed transport network iPoP/IPSDP/TSO/FNL/BNG/CSG/OLT/IIB/CC/NNI/TRX/NTRX/VSS/FTTA/FAN etc. along with handling incident in du Service Operation Center (SoC). Support SoC Management to bring AI based network automation in the incident management operations/processes/services for efficiency enhancements by planning and implement various internal AI and network automation use cases/initiatives.


  • AI based incident/CR handling & intelligent alarm handling for fixed Transport network on 24/7 basis in shifts.

  • To monitor all major/critical fault alarms, timely escalation using AI to Management/SLO & improve TT SLAs.

  • Automatic info sharing using AI Agents for alarms/incidents to management, also approve changes.

  • Automate and execute various SoC internal initiatives to enable artificial intelligence in operations.

  • Perform AI/ML/python-based health-checks for the network by implementing automation scripts dashboards.

  • Bring smart AI based alarm visualization display by using Grafana Dashboard using API calls.

  • Maximize the use of AI/automation in existing tools and adopt newly enabled Dashboards/monitoring tools.

  • Fully support disaster recovery and business continuity activities of fixed Transport network.

  • Knowledge and skills about artificial intelligence, machine learning and data science plus faults/alarms about Routing/switching hardware from Nokia, cisco, Huawei transport IP networks. International PoPs, fixed 100G transport network, IP Service delivery and transport security operation networks. Carrier grade inter-connects and gigabit passive optical networks. Transport aggregation routing, call centre connectivity, international/national transit networks. Fiber to the air, campus and access networks.

Desired Candidate Profile


  • Bachelor engineering degree with majors in computer networks artificial intelligence and data science

  • Certification in Python, AI, machine learning and Data Science.3-5 years of hands-on operational/AI/automation experience in fixed Transport in carrier grade networks.

  • 1-year minimum experience in implementing AI/ML/DS projects in telecom transport networks.

  • Thorough knowledge of alarms classification and unsupervised machine learning algorithms along with faults about various fixed Transport and access network technologies including ACI, firewalls and load balancers.

  • Skills in complex problem Solving, inter/intra team collaboration, excellent communication, initiative/Commitment to Achieve
