Job Description

Roles & Responsibilities

As an ICT / SAS Project Engineer, you will collaborate closely with internal teams, consultants, contractors, and authorities to support the successful delivery of the project. Responsibilities will include:

  • Preparing concept, preliminary, and detailed designs for ICT and SAS systems, including CCTV, Access Control, BHS IT, Network Infrastructure, SCADA, and related systems
  • Ensuring system designs and implementations comply with UAE ICT and cybersecurity regulations, as well as applicable ICAO and IATA standards
  • Reviewing and coordinating contractor designs, shop drawings, technical submittals, and method statements
  • Supervising site works, testing, commissioning, and system integration activities
  • Verifying as-built documentation, system performance, and handover deliverables to ensure timely project completion
  • Coordinating with clients, consultants, contractors, and internal multidisciplinary teams to resolve technical and integration challenges
  • Supporting quality control, QA/QC reviews, safety compliance, and schedule adherence
  • Contributing to BIM modeling, clash detection, digital twin integration, and coordinated design workflows
  • Leveraging AI-driven tools and digital platforms to support system optimization, reporting, and innovation

Qualifications & Requirements

Technical Skills

  • Proven expertise in ICT / SAS system design, coordination, and site execution
  • Strong knowledge of ICAO 8973, Annex 17, IATA ADRM, and UAE ICT/cyber regulations (TRA, NESA)
  • Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit (BIM), Navisworks, and ICT design or simulation tools
  • Experience with digital platforms, BIM coordination, and AI-enabled engineering tools
  • Familiarity with UAE authority approval and compliance processes

Soft Skills

  • Strong communication, leadership, and stakeholder coordination skills
  • Effective problem-solving and decision-making abilities
  • Ability to adapt in a fast-paced, multidisciplinary, airport project environment

This is a unique opportunity to join a multidisciplinary engineering team delivering a complex airport and mixed-use infrastructure project in one of the world s most dynamic environments. We are looking for a technically strong ICT professional capable of contributing across design, coordination, BIM, and site execution for mission-critical airport systems.

The role is structured to accommodate candidates from ICT, electronics, and communications engineering backgrounds, ensuring full coverage of system design, integration, and implementation. This is a full-time, on-site position offering broad exposure while maintaining a strong focus on excellence within your core technical expertise.
