Engineer II, Construction Road AL-AYUNI Investment and Contracting Company

The Engineer II Road Construction will be responsible for supervising and coordinating road construction activities, ensuring compliance with technical specifications, timelines, and safety standards. This role involves working closely with contractors, consultants, and project teams to support the successful delivery of infrastructure projects.

• Supervise on-site road construction activities, including excavation, grading, paving, and drainage.

• Review and interpret engineering drawings, specifications, and design documents.

• Monitor project progress and ensure adherence to approved schedules and budgets.

• Conduct site inspections and material testing to ensure quality standards are met.

• Prepare daily and weekly project reports, documenting progress and any issues.

• Coordinate with project managers, contractors, and stakeholders to resolve technical issues.

• Enforce health, safety, and environmental (HSE) compliance at the project site.

• Assist in the review and approval of project-related documents such as BOQs, technical submittals, and payment certificates.

1. Qualifications:

   • Bachelor's degree in civil engineering or a related field.

   • 4 7 years of experience in road or infrastructure construction.

   • Knowledge of road construction standards and materials (e.g., AASHTO, ASTM).

   • Proficient in AutoCAD, Civil 3D, and project scheduling tools (e.g., MS Project, Primavera).
