Roles & Responsibilities

Prepare detailed scaffolding and formwork designs in compliance with safety standards and project specifications.
Perform structural load calculations for all scaffolding systems.
Ensure stability, safety, and efficiency in all design proposals.

Prepare and review Method Statements and Risk Assessments for scaffolding works.
Produce detailed shop drawings, design reports, and calculation sheets.
Maintain accurate logs of scaffolding materials and design revisions.

Handle multiple ongoing projects and deliver solutions within deadlines.
Attend coordination and progress meetings, providing technical support and design advice to site teams.
Collaborate with construction teams to address on-site challenges and propose safe, cost-effective solutions.

Identify opportunities to reduce costs while maintaining safety and design integrity.
Optimize scaffolding systems and layouts to improve efficiency and reduce material usage.

Demonstrate familiarity with major scaffolding and formwork systems used for columns, slabs, retaining walls, and access platforms.
Recommend suitable systems for specific project applications based on technical and economic considerations.

Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and design-related software (AutoCAD, Revit, or equivalent).
Ability to generate and manage design documentation efficiently.

Desired Candidate Profile

Bachelor’s Degree in Civil, Structural, or Mechanical Engineering (or equivalent).
Minimum 5–10 years of experience in scaffolding/formwork design and supervision.
Strong understanding of structural design principles, load calculations, and relevant international standards.
Excellent communication and coordination skills.
Strong analytical thinking with the ability to think outside the box and provide practical, safe, and economical solutions.
