Job Description

Roles & Responsibilities

Engineer is responsible for the design, programming, integration, testing, operation, and maintenance of Niagara-based Building Management Systems (BMS), including associated software, hardware, and field devices

Key Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate with customers, consultants, and contractors for project requirements, site visits, and progress meetings
  • Understand client needs and explain system capabilities and integration options
  • Develop and deploy Niagara stations, logic, and user interfaces according to project specifications
  • Integrate BMS with HVAC, lighting, energy metering, and other building systems
  • Conduct system testing to ensure full operational functionality and performance compliance
  • Ensure project delivery according to timelines and quality standards
  • Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on Niagara-based BMS installations
  • Maintain documentation including system architecture, wiring diagrams, and configuration records
  • Exercise a personal duty of care for own and team s health, safety, and welfare

Desired Candidate Profile

  • 2 to 4 Years experience in BMS engineering with hands-on Niagara Framework (Niagara 4 preferred)
  • Strong knowledge of building automation protocols (BACnet, Modbus, etc.)
  • Proficiency in Niagara Workbench for programming and commissioning
  • Experience with field devices and control panel wiring in HVAC/BMS applications
  • Ability to integrate third-party systems into Niagara platforms
  • Good knowledge of HVAC control principles and sequence of operations
  • Ability to read and interpret control drawings, schematics, and technical manuals
  • Strong problem-solving skills for diagnosing and resolving BMS-related issues
  • Good communication skills in English
  • Working knowledge of MS Office
  • BE/BTech/Diploma in Electrical / Mechanical / Electronics Engineering
  • Niagara Certification (N4 TCP or equivalent) preferred
