Job Description

Roles & Responsibilities

Key Accountabilities:

  • Network Surveillance and Fault Rectification
  • Monitoring of Mobile Core Network & Roaming KPIs
  • CS/vIMS/EPC/vEPC/SPS/VAS KPIs monitoring and reporting any degradation to responsible teams.
  • Routine Network Check such as Health Check, Preventive Maintenance, Network Alarm Management
  • Escalation to L2 support, Follow-up and coordination
  • Generate, Update and Provide reports relevant to Network Operations and Maintenance
  • Monitoring and troubleshooting any raised alarms on the Core nodes. Open cases for new alarm with the suitable severity

Skills:

  • Good understanding of CS/vIMS/EPC/vEPC KPIs
  • Good understanding SPS/VAS KPIs
  • Good knowledge in programing and automation.
  • Must be able to work effectively in a 24 x 7 x 365 environment.
  • Ability to handle multiple tasks at once, to prioritize, and demonstrate excellent follow-through on each task assigned.
  • Works well within a team and ability to build relationships cross-functionally.
  • Ensure the operations and network KPIs are met with the highest quality and standards.
  • Ability to work under pressure and to be able to handle network crises and emergencies
  • Management Notification & Escalation as per the company escalation matrix

Desired Candidate Profile

Qualifications:

  • Minimum B.Eng in Electronics/Telecom Engineering, preferably M.Eng or M.S. from a reputable university.

Experience:

  • Minimum 2 years of experience working in SOC Roaming
