Job Description
Roles & Responsibilities
- Strategic sales and business development: Develop and execute sales plans and strategies to meet or exceed sales targets for new turbo compressor units and related products
- Team leadership and management: Demonstrate managerial acumen setting clear sales goals and monitoring performance.
- Client relationship management: Build and maintain strong, long-lasting relationships with key clients, including major corporations, engineering firms (EPCs), and end-users.
- Technical support and solution selling: Leverage in-depth product knowledge to provide technical advice and propose customized solutions that meet complex client
- Sales & Technical Responsibilities
- Strong commercial skills & negotiation
- Develop & extend the existing clienteles in the GCC in close cooperation with the Regional and Global Sales Teams
- Plan and organize all related sales functions, customer visits, reports and processes
- Develop and maintain relationship with customers and key accounts
- Develop Effective Sales Strategies and plans in line with the management business objectives, goals and targets
- Evaluate incoming inquiries and prepare budget quotes with support of the Sales and Application Engineering Teams.
- Solid application engineering and process knowledge of integrally geared centrifugal compressor
- Knowledge of API672, API617, API614 and other API Codes
- Preparation of technical quotes & material presentations
- Participation at trade shows as required
Desired Candidate Profile
- A proven sales track record in the Oil & Gas and Chemical / Petrochemical/power/etc. Industry in the Middle-East region.
- · Should have a good understanding of instrument air and gas compressor applications in the Oil & Gas and Chemical / Petrochemical/power/etc. Industry in the Middle-East region.
- Should have a good command of English and bilingual
- Requires a Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or equivalent plus at least five (5) years of documented experience in the field of turbo machinery; or equivalent combination of education & experience.
- Strong aptitude for turbomachinery and other rotating machinery
- Expert understanding of industry related standards, as well as systems processes
- Knowledge of Turbomachinery product specifications and features including control systems and auxiliary systems associated with integrally geared centrifugal compressors.
- Ability to read and understand drawings, technical documentation, blueprints, layouts and schedules.
- Strong computer skills – Microsoft Word, Excel, Projects, PowerPoint.
