Deloitte is looking for a Consultant with 3-7 years of experience to join either ourspan> Supply Chain Engineering or "Manufacturing" capability in Cairo. You'll work with top-tier clients, especially in the biopharmaceutical sector, to optimize production, implement cutting-edge technologies, and deliver real results./span>
You'll collaborate with a diverse team of engineering, manufacturing and supply chain experts, engineers, and technology specialists to analyze current engineering and manufacturing processes, identify areas for improvement, and design innovative solutions. This is a hands-on opportunity to understand complex operational challenges, and design and implement intelligent solutions that drive efficiency and quality. Your work will directly empower clients to make data-driven decisions and achieve operational excellence.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Solution Design and Strategy: Translate engineering and manufacturing challenges into clear, actionable solution designs, outlining the functional requirements and technical architecture needed to build robust intelligence solutions.
- Data and AI Development: Design and develop advanced engineering and manufacturing intelligence solutions, leveraging technologies such as AI, GenAI, and IoT.
- Data Analytics: Analyze data sources and patterns to inform solution design, identify key performance indicators, and support real-time decision-making through intuitive BI dashboards.
- Innovation: Stay current with the latest trends and developments in engineering, manufacturing, data science, and AI to ensure our solutions remain at the forefront of technology.
- Project Execution: Collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality project outcomes, gathering and analyzing data to measure the impact of implemented solutions.
You need:
- 3 7 years of professional experience in a technical or techno-functional role, ideally within manufacturing, data analytics, or consulting.
- Prior experience working at industrial products and bio-pharmaceutical company or a related engineering or life sciences organization, or a demonstrated strong interest in developing expertise in this industry.
- An engineering or computer science background (e.g., Systems Information Engineering, Data Engineering, Computer Science, Industrial Engineering or a related field).
- Proficiency in English, both written and spoken, is essential for collaborating with international clients.
- Experience with Databricks, SQL, Power BI, and/or Python (PySpark), or similar data management and analytics technologies.
- A strong passion for the intersection of data, solution design, and operational technology.
- A strong interest instrong> optimizing supply chain processesstrong> and understanding of manufacturing processes and operations
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- The ability to work effectively in a client-facing, team-oriented environment.
- The ability to manage multiple tasks or projects in parallel
Preferred Skills:
- Familiarity with Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) and/or Manufacturing Execution Systems (MES) or other production management software.
- Exposure to concepts like lean manufacturing, Six Sigma, or continuous improvement methodologies.
- A foundational understanding of data management and information technology principles.
Required Software Skills:
- Proficiency in Microsoft tools (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, OneNote, OneDrive, Teams).
