Job Description
Roles & Responsibilities
Lead and manage all engineering activities for Oil & Gas EPC projects.
Oversee multidisciplinary engineering teams including civil, mechanical, electrical, instrumentation, and piping.
Plan, organize, and control engineering deliverables in line with project schedules.
Review and approve designs, drawings, calculations, and technical specifications.
Coordinate with project management, procurement, and construction teams.
Ensure seamless technical communication across departments.
Provide technical support and clarifications to the construction team.
Participate in technical meetings, progress reviews, and design discussions.
Address client comments and ensure timely closure of technical queries.
Support material requisitions, vendor evaluations, expediting, and inspections.
Identify engineering risks and implement mitigation strategies.
Manage technical changes, deviations, and non-conformities with proper approvals.
Ensure proper documentation and compliance with project standards.
Desired Candidate Profile
Minimum 10–15 years of experience in Oil & Gas Construction / EPC projects.
At least 5 years in a managerial or leadership role.
Strong expertise in engineering design coordination and project execution.
Proven ability to manage multidisciplinary engineering teams.
Excellent technical, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
Strong understanding of project planning, scheduling, and execution.
Experience in minimizing design changes and rework.
Effective communication and stakeholder management skills.
Ability to handle client interactions and technical discussions confidently.
