Job Description

- Own the overall technical strategy, architecture, and execution roadmap.

- Lead, manage, and mentor engineering teams across backend, Frontend, mobile development, and DevOps/infrastructure.

- Ensure best practices in code quality and documentation, Security and compliance, Performance and scalability

- Oversee production infrastructure, including deployment pipelines (CI/CD), Monitoring and incident response, operational stability, and uptime

- Collaborate with business stakeholders to translate requirements into technical deliverables

- Drive R&D initiatives and lead the adoption of AI/ML capabilities into products and operations.

- Build a strong engineering culture, including reviews and standards, Documentation and knowledge sharing, and continuous improvement practices

Requirements

- 10+ years of total experience in software engineering, including Minimum 4 years in a managerial/leadership role

- Strong background in Full-Stack Development, DevOps, Cloud, Operations, and Databases

- Strong hands-on experience in Python, Node.js, C# /ASPX, Angular

- Mobile development exposure is a plus: Swift (iOS), Java (Android)

- Strong experience in REST APIs and system integrations, Performance optimization and scalability, microservices/distributed systems

- Solid DevOps knowledge, including Docker, CI/CD pipelines, Nginx, Monitoring & incident management

- Strong system administration skills: Ubuntu Linux, Windows Server

- Strong understanding of security best practices: Authentication/authorization, JWT, OWASP, System hardening

- Ability to work full-time on-site in Cairo

- Strong leadership, communication, and team management skills
