Job Description

Roles & Responsibilities

Working as part of a single LINE organization to be accountable for the successful delivery of the Engineering Design and Construction of the Projects which are part of THE LINE region.

THE LINE region contains a variety of projects in a 9,500km2 land area, including the initial Hidden Marina Mirror Line phase 1 modules, the Landscapes of THE LINE and the NEOM International Airport (NIA)

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop a comprehensive Engineering strategy aligned with the Project delivery strategy
  • Develop implementation plans for Engineering design and construction of the Projects that consider project-specific requirements, timelines, and budgets. Align plans with the overarching mission and objectives, ensuring a clear roadmap for achieving our goals. Plans to be developed with the Project leadership (design and project management).
  • Utilize industry knowledge and network to source opportunities for the Engineering design and construction of the Projects. Evaluate and select technologies that align with our goals and can be seamlessly integrated into the projects.
  • Foster a culture of innovation, continuous learning, and excellence. Provide mentorship, guidance, and direction to ensure the successful execution of the strategy for successful delivery of the Design and Construction of the Engineering systems of the Projects.
  • Demonstrate a strong ability to analyze complex issues and develop innovative solutions to overcome obstacles to ensure successful project execution.
  • Define key performance indicators (KPIs) to assess the impact of the Engineering Design and Construction on project timelines, costs, and environmental footprint.
  • Regularly monitor and report on progress to leadership.
  • Leverage knowledge of latest advancements and trends in Engineering to inform decision-making.
  • Work with the project Design leadership to deliver excellent Engineering systems that support the over-arching project objectives including the quality, time and cost objectives set.

Desired Candidate Profile

Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, or a related field from an accredited university.

  • Master's degree in a relevant field preferred.
  • Minimum 15 years of progressive experience in transportation planning, engineering, or operations, with a strong focus on urban mobility.
  • Proven experience in leading and managing multidisciplinary teams.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills.
  • Strong leadership, mentorship, and team-building skills.
  • Ability to work effectively under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Commitment to safety, quality, and sustainability.
