Job Description

Roles & Responsibilities

  • Deliver interactive and effective English lessons to secondary school students (50% of the time).
  • Capacity building of local English teachers through coaching and mentoring.
  • Organise and lead extra-curricular activities, including language clubs, to enhance students' speaking and writing skills.
  • Design and deliver engaging and interactive lesson plans tailored to students’ learning needs, incorporating ICT tools and technology.
  • Provide constructive feedback to support students' progress and confidence in using English.
  • Work closely with assistant teachers to create a positive and inclusive learning environment.
  • Facilitate workshops to build the capacity of local English language teachers.

Desired Candidate Profile

  • Bachelor’s / master’s degree in education with experience in teaching ESL/EFL at the secondary or high school level is preferred.
  • Fluency in English (C1 level) with strong communication skills and accreditation.
  • CELTA, DELTA, TESOL, TEFL, Linguistics, Applied Linguistics (preferred).
  • Strong cultural sensitivity and a collaborative approach to working with diverse teams.
  • Experience of integrating technology in teaching of English Language.
