Job Description
Roles & Responsibilities
The English Language Trainer will be responsible for delivering high-impact English language training for adult learners preparing for customer service and professional communication roles. The focus is on spoken English, fluency, pronunciation, confidence, and workplace communication, with training aligned to contact center and business needs.
Key ResponsibilitiesTraining Delivery

Deliver English language training to adult learners (fresh graduates and professionals).

Teach spoken English, pronunciation, grammar in context, and functional/business English.

Lead interactive sessions including discussions, role plays, presentations, and simulations.

Adapt teaching techniques to different learning styles and proficiency levels (B1 C1).
Assessment & Coaching

Assess learners English proficiency and identify individual learning gaps.

Provide structured feedback and personalized improvement plans.

Monitor progress and ensure measurable improvement in fluency and confidence.
Curriculum & Materials

Design, adapt, and deliver adult-focused English training materials.

Ensure training content is practical, engaging, and aligned with workplace communication needs.

Continuously improve training methods based on learner outcomes.
Collaboration & Support

Coordinate with training and operations teams to align language outcomes with business readiness.

Support learners during post-training or nesting phases when required.
Reporting

Maintain attendance, assessments, and performance tracking.

Share progress reports and insights with stakeholders.

Bachelor s degree in English, Education, Linguistics, or a related field.

Proven experience teaching English to adults is a MUST (classroom or corporate setting).

Minimum 2 3 years of English teaching experience for adult learners.

Strong ability to teach spoken English, pronunciation, and functional grammar.

Excellent classroom management and facilitation skills.

English proficiency: C1 or near-native level.

Experience teaching business English or professional communication.

Experience preparing learners for customer-facing or service roles.

Previous exposure to BPO, call center, or corporate training environments (PLUS).

Teaching certifications such as TESOL / TEFL / CELTA (strong advantage).
