Job Description
Roles & Responsibilities
- Design and implement engaging lesson plans that cater to diverse learning styles and abilities, ensuring all students have access to quality education.
- Foster a love for literature by introducing students to a wide range of texts, facilitating discussions that deepen their understanding and appreciation of language.
- Conduct assessments to evaluate student progress, providing timely feedback and tailored support to help them achieve their academic goals.
- Encourage critical thinking by challenging students to analyze texts, articulate their thoughts clearly, and defend their interpretations.
- Create a positive classroom environment that promotes respect, collaboration, and open dialogue among students from various backgrounds.
Desired Candidate Profile
- Bachelor's degree in English, Education, or a related field, with a strong academic background in literature and language studies.
- Teaching certification or licensure specific to the region, demonstrating competency in pedagogical practices and educational standards.
- A minimum of 2 years' experience teaching English in a classroom setting, showcasing a proven track record of student engagement and achievement.
- Proficiency in English language skills, both written and spoken, with additional language skills preferred to cater to diverse student populations.
- Familiarity with various teaching methodologies, including differentiated instruction and project-based learning, to meet individual student needs.
- Strong interpersonal skills, enabling effective collaboration with students, parents, and colleagues to foster a supportive learning environment.
