Job Description

Roles & Responsibilities

Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan, implement, and evaluate engaging and developmentally appropriate lesson plans for upper primary/lower secondary students.
  • Monitor and assess student progress, adapting teaching methods and materials to meet individual needs.
  • Create a positive and inclusive classroom atmosphere that encourages curiosity, collaboration, and creativity.
  • Encourage strong communication and relationships with parents and guardians to support student success.
  • Collaborate with fellow teachers and staff to enhance curriculum delivery and share best practices.
  • Engage in ongoing professional development to improve educational practices and stay updated on teaching trends.
  • Support the social and emotional development of students, promoting positive behaviors and resilience.

Desired Candidate Profile

Bachelor s degree in Education or a related field.

  • Possess a valid teaching qualification (e.g., QTS or PGCE) relevant for primary education.
  • At least 3 years of experience teaching in a English in primary/secondary school setting.
  • Strong understanding of child development and early years educational practices.
  • Excellent communication, organization, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to inspire and motivate students, engaging them in learning.
  • Dedication to creating an inclusive environment that fosters the diverse needs of all learners.
