1. Architecture Strategy & Governance

• Develop and maintain the Enterprise Architecture roadmap, ensuring alignment with business objectives and digital payment strategy.
• Define and enforce architecture principles, patterns, and governance frameworks.
• Lead architecture review boards (ARB) ensuring compliance with standards.

2. Solution & Technical Architecture

• Provide end-to-end architecture guidance for new business initiatives and enhancements.
• Design scalable, resilient, and secure architectures for digital payments, integrations, mobile apps, microservices, and hybrid cloud.
• Evaluate and endorse technologies, patterns, and platforms.

3. Integration Architecture

• Define integration standards including REST/SOAP APIs, ESB, event-driven messaging.
• Oversee integrations with banks, telecom platforms, fraud systems, KYC/AML providers.
• Ensure seamless interoperability and performance.

4. Data & Security Architecture

• Establish data architecture principles, MDM, lineage, and governance.
• Support compliance with SAMA, PCI-DSS, NCA, GDPR (if applicable).
• Ensure IAM, encryption, secure API frameworks, and privacy standards.

5. Delivery Enablement

• Provide architecture blueprints, reusable components, and reference models.
• Collaborate with product owners, BAs, and engineering teams.
• Identify and mitigate technical risks.

6. Technology Leadership & Innovation

• Drive adoption of microservices, serverless, containerization, CI/CD, cloud-native architecture.
• Evaluate emerging technologies to enhance the platform.
• Mentor architects, technical leads, and engineering teams.
