Responsibilities:

• Develop, review, and update company compliance policies and procedures.
• Monitor and assess the effectiveness of internal controls and recommend enhancements.
• Ensure the organization complies with applicable laws, regulations, and internal policies.
• Conduct regular compliance audits and risk assessments.
• Provide training and guidance to staff on compliance-related matters.
• Investigate compliance issues, prepare reports, and coordinate with relevant departments to implement corrective actions.
• Serve as the primary point of contact with regulatory bodies and manage audits or inspections.
• Keep up to date with regulatory changes and industry best practices and ensure timely implementation.
• Maintain proper documentation and reporting systems for compliance activities.
• Prepare compliance reports for senior management and regulatory authorities.
• Support the development, implementation, and continuous improvement of the company's governance framework in alignment with regulatory expectations and best practices.
• Coordinate with the Board and its sub-Committees (e.g. Audit & Risk Committee) by preparing reports, dashboards, and governance-related insights.
• Contribute to the development of governance framework, delegation of authority, and decision-making frameworks.
• Ensuring governance principles (e.g. responsibility, accountability, transparency, etc.) are embedded into business operations and decision-making processes.
• Acting as liaison between compliance, risk, and strategy functions to ensure governance consistency across the company.
