Job Description
Roles & Responsibilities
Accountabilities & Key Roles:
Lead the design, implementation, and continuous improvement of the Enterprise Planning & Performance cycle, and Lean Portfolio Management ceremonies, enabling Arab Bank to plan, prioritize, and deliver value predictably across all product and platform teams.
Own the Quarterly Planning and Review Framework, including preparation, facilitation, alignment sessions, dependency reviews, risk surfacing, and post-planning integration.
Enable the Big Room Planning (BRP) events, ensuring value streams, product teams, business stakeholders, and technology partners align around shared objectives and delivery commitments.
Enable the Quarterly Business Reviews (QBRs), ensuring visibility into progress, risks, blockers, contentions, OKR performance, and strategic alignment.
Define and maintain the enterprise OKR framework, working with Strategy, EPG, and business units to cascade, align, and measure objectives across the Bank.
Establish and maintain an enterprise performance dashboard, leveraging tools such as Jira, Confluence, Planview, to provide real-time insights into delivery, dependencies, risks, capacity, and flow metrics.
Partner with the Product Management community to ensure alignment between product roadmaps, quarterly commitments, and enterprise priorities.
Develop and maintain playbooks, templates, and governance models to ensure consistent planning and performance practices across all teams.
Drive continuous improvement of planning cadences, KPIs, and review mechanisms based on feedback, maturity evolution, and transformation needs
Experience:
~10+ years in enterprise planning, Agile delivery or portfolio management within large, complex organizations.
Experience leading Agile-at-scale planning cadences such as Big Room Planning, or quarterly alignment events.
Demonstrated experience working with OKRs, strategy execution frameworks, and enterprise performance management models.
Deep experience in portfolio planning, prioritization, risk management, and cross-team coordination.
Hands-on experience with planning and performance tools (Planview, Jira, Confluence, dashboards).
Experience in regulated environments, preferably banking or financial services.
Education:
Bachelor s degree in Business, Accounting, Information Systems, or related field.
Must have certifications: SAFe LPM, or SAFe SPC
Preferred: OKR Practitioner or similar strategic execution certification
Skills:
Strong facilitation skills with the ability to lead large-scale planning events (100+ participants).
Strong financial analysis and management acumen.
Deep understanding of Agile planning, financial management, forecasting, prioritization, dependency mapping, and OKR management.
Strong analytical skills with the ability to synthesize complex data for leadership decisions.
Advanced stakeholder engagement skills, able to align diverse business and technology groups.
Excellent communication, storytelling, and structured thinking.
Ability to design and maintain planning playbooks, frameworks and templates.
Desired Candidate Profile
Bachelor s degree in Business, Accounting, Information Systems, or related field.
