Roles & Responsibilities
- Conduct extensive field and laboratory research, meticulously collecting and analyzing insect specimens to understand their behavior, ecology, and impact.
- Identify and classify insect species using taxonomic keys and advanced techniques, ensuring accurate and up-to-date classifications.
- Design and execute experiments to study insect physiology, genetics, and interactions with their environment, contributing to cutting-edge scientific knowledge.
- Develop and implement integrated pest management (IPM) strategies, providing sustainable solutions for controlling insect populations in agricultural settings.
Desired Candidate Profile
Bachelor’s degree in Agriculture or Biological Sciences (Entomology preferred)
Knowledge of insect taxonomy, ecology, and pest control methods
