Job Description

Roles & Responsibilities

Purpose:

  • Statutory environmental approval undertakings and conditions;
  • Worley environmental standards and aspirations;
  • Reasonable Community and Stakeholder expectations.

Main Accountabilities and Responsibilities:

  • Proactively leading and advising Project (including Sub-Contractor) line management in the implementation of the Environmental components of the Health/Safety/Environment Management System
  • Acting to directly support the efficient implementation of Project related environmental commitments and conditions;
  • Monitoring compliance with Pro-active involvement with Project related environmental commitments and conditions;
  • Assisting in the preparation of Environment Management related documents and programs.
  • Acting to identify improvements in the Project s management system and management initiatives, particularly in relation to environmental matters;
  • Efficient completion of other assigned tasks as directed.

Safety Responsibilities:

  • Demonstrate a personal commitment to Health, Safety and the Environment by:
  • Being aware of Australian and Local Statutory Health, Safety & Environmental Regulations;
  • Demonstrating an understanding of the project objectives in the areas of Health, Safety and the Environment.

Qualifications & Experience:

  • Qualifications degree;
  • In-field site development experience required;
  • Environmental management system structure and implementation experience;
  • Competent to deliver environment related training effectively
