Job Description

Roles & Responsibilities

Key Responsibilities: * Ensure full compliance with ADNOC HSE standards, UAE environmental regulations, and international best practices. * Implement and monitor the Project Environmental Management Plan (EMP). * Conduct environmental impact assessments and risk evaluations for construction activities. * Monitor air emissions, noise levels, wastewater discharge, and waste management systems. * Ensure proper hazardous and non-hazardous waste handling, storage, and disposal. * Conduct regular environmental inspections and audits at site. * Prepare environmental reports and submit documentation to ADNOC and regulatory authorities. * Coordinate with HSE, construction, and engineering teams to mitigate environmental risks. * Support sustainability initiatives and environmental performance improvement programs. * Investigate environmental incidents and recommend corrective and preventive actions. * Ensure compliance with ISO 14001 Environmental Management System requirements.  Technical Requirements: * Minimum 8+ years of experience in Oil & Gas / LNG / Petrochemical plant construction projects. * Strong knowledge of ADNOC environmental standards and UAE environmental regulations. * Experience in large-scale EPC construction projects. * Familiar with environmental monitoring equipment and reporting tools. * Good understanding of waste management regulations and hazardous material control. * Experience with environmental auditing and compliance documentation. * Proficiency in MS Office and environmental reporting systems.  

Desired Candidate Profile

Preferred Certifications: * ISO 14001 Lead Auditor certification (preferred). * NEBOSH Environmental Management Certificate (preferred). * Membership in recognized environmental or engineering professional bodies is an advantage.  Skills & Competencies: * Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. * Excellent reporting and documentation ability. * Good communication and coordination skills. * Ability to work under pressure in a large construction site environment. * Strong commitment to HSE and sustainability principles.
