Parsons is hiring an Environmental Manager to lead environmental engineering strategies for the Qiddiya Project, one of Saudi Arabia s most ambitious developments under Vision 2030. This role offers the opportunity to shape sustainable practices, ensure regulatory compliance, and implement advanced engineering solutions across a mega-scale urban infrastructure.

Position Overview
As the Environmental Manager, you will lead a team of engineers and designers to implement environmentally responsible practices and ensure that all engineering efforts across Qiddiya align with national regulations and global sustainability benchmarks. This role includes overseeing environmental studies, compliance audits, risk analysis, and technical integration with project engineering teams.
What You ll Do
* Lead environmental planning and engineering efforts for infrastructure and transportation components across Qiddiya
* Ensure full compliance with environmental codes, safety standards, and sustainability regulations
* Conduct environmental impact assessments (EIA), audits, surveys, and site investigations
* Supervise design teams and provide technical input into equipment specifications, shop testing, and supplier reviews
* Support operation and maintenance plan development and train site teams on environmental protocols
* Perform RAM (reliability, availability, maintenance) and safety analysis on major project systems
* Recommend technical improvements and prepare technical papers or sustainability strategies
* Interface with clients, suppliers, and government authorities regarding environmental documentation and compliance
* Assist in forecasting budgets and resource needs for environmental engineering scope
Ideal Profile
* Bachelor s degree in Environmental, Civil, or related Engineering discipline; PE or equivalent certification preferred
* Minimum 10 years of professional experience in environmental engineering or infrastructure sustainability
* Strong understanding of RAM, EIA, environmental risk assessments, and O&M planning
* Familiarity with local Saudi environmental regulations and international standards (e.g., ISO 14001, LEED, IFC)
* Experience using CAD/CAE software for environmental integration in design workflows
* Excellent leadership, communication, and technical writing skills
* Ability to supervise multidisciplinary teams and support large-scale project delivery
