Job Description
Roles & Responsibilities
Monitor and ensure compliance with environmental policies, regulations, and project-specific requirements on infrastructure projects.
Prepare, review, and submit daily, weekly, and monthly environmental reports (EDL, MER) for Lusail projects.
Support NCR closeout processes and maintain accurate environmental documentation for LREDC.
Provide technical guidance on environmental aspects of construction activities including roads, highways, tunnels, underpasses, pipelines, and underground utilities.
Assist in implementing and maintaining environmental management systems (ISO 14001) and sustainability initiatives.
Conduct environmental audits, inspections, and assessments on-site.
Liaise with project teams, regulatory authorities, and stakeholders to ensure compliance with environmental standards.
Identify environmental risks, propose mitigation measures, and track their implementation.
Desired Candidate Profile
Education: Degree or diploma in Environmental Science, Environmental Management, or Environmental Engineering.
Experience:
7–10 years in civil construction projects in Qatar or GCC countries.
5 years specifically in infrastructure projects.
Experience in Lusail projects is highly desirable.
Skills:
Proficiency in spoken and written English.
Strong knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint.
Technical knowledge of civil construction activities, environmental processes, and sustainability reporting.
Certifications (Preferred): ISO 14001, ISEP, NEBOSH, GSAS CGP.
Personal Attributes:
Strong analytical and reporting skills.
Ability to work independently and coordinate with multi-disciplinary teams.
Attention to detail and adherence to environmental compliance standards.
