Job Description

Roles & Responsibilities

Responsibilities

  • Promotes the Gilbane Cares safety culture
  • Identify potential contamination and environmental hazards on site
  • Develop site reports and notifications related to hazards and hazardous waste
  • Coordinate with the project manager to notify the client
  • Participate in site walks and coordinate with 3 rd party testing agencies
  • Manage and implement a Contamination Remediation Plan

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES

  • Proficient knowledge of construction safety principles, techniques, and methods
  • Practical knowledge of OSHA laws, regulations, and policies
  • Capable of identifying known potential exposures and recommending corrective action
  • Strong computer skills and familiarity with the Microsoft Office suite
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong interpersonal skills

Desired Candidate Profile

EXPERIENCE/EDUCATION

  • Engineering background with experience in Environmental Engineering
  • Prior involvement in construction projects within KSA
  • Experience working with the National Center for Environmental Compliance (NCEC), KSA s official environmental authority
  • Capability to manage and implement a Contamination Remediation Plan
  • Bilingual proficiency in English and Arabic
