As an Environmental Safety Officer, you'll play a critical role in safeguarding the health and safety of the environment and the workplace. The ideal candidate will be vigilant in identifying potential environmental risks and implementing strategies to promote sustainability and compliance with environmental regulations. Your role will involve conducting regular inspections, evaluating environmental health procedures, and conducting training sessions to educate employees on environmental safety practices. Responsibilities

• Stay updated with latest trends and technologies in environmental safety management.
• Assist in the development of emergency response plans for environmental catastrophes.
• Oversee waste management practices to ensure proper disposal and recycling efforts.
• Provide guidance to the management team on environmental risk assessment findings.

Requirements

• Bachelor s degree in Environmental Science, Safety Management, or a related field.
• At least 3 years of experience in environmental safety or related roles required.
• Strong knowledge of local, state, and federal environmental regulations is essential.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail are critical requirements.
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills for training and reporting needs.
• Certification in Environmental Health and Safety (EHS) is highly preferred.
• Proficiency in using environmental management software and related technologies.
