Job Description
Roles & Responsibilities
To ensure that all strong>static and rotating equipment/strong> fabricated, installed, and tested at the offshore fabrication yard comply with strong>project specifications, approved drawings, applicable codes/standards, and client requirements/strong>.
Key Responsibilities
- Inspection of Mechanical Equipment
- Inspect fabrication, installation, and preservation of:
- strong>Static Equipment/strong>: Pressure vessels, heat exchangers, tanks, separators
- strong>Rotating Equipment/strong>: Pumps, compressors, turbines, winches
- strong>Packages & Skids/strong>: HVAC units, diesel generators, lifting equipment skids
- Inspect fabrication, installation, and preservation of:
- Inspection Activities & Testing
- Review and implement approved strong>ITPs, Method Statements, and Procedures/strong>
- Conduct inspections during:
- Incoming material inspection
- Vendor & Data Book Review
- Review vendor documents such as:
- Datasheets and drawings
- Manufacturing record books (MRBs)
- Review vendor documents such as:
- Quality Control & Documentation
- Review and approve:
- Material Inspection Reports (MIR)
- Inspection reports and checklists
- Review and approve:
- Preservation & Storage
- Ensure proper preservation and storage of equipment:
- Rust prevention
- Environmental protection
- Ensure proper preservation and storage of equipment:
