Job Description
Roles & Responsibilities
The Equity Sales Executive is responsible for promoting and selling equity investment products and services, building and maintaining long-term client relationships, and achieving sales targets in full compliance with applicable regulatory and compliance requirements.
- Promote and sell equity investment products and services to individual and institutional clients.
- Acquire new clients and expand existing client portfolios in line with the company s sales strategy.
- Present equity products professionally, ensuring proper disclosure of risks in accordance with regulatory requirements.
- Monitor equity market movements and provide clients with general market updates within the approved scope.
- Build and maintain strong, long-term professional relationships with clients.
- Coordinate closely with Trading, Compliance, and Client Services teams to ensure high service standards.
- Ensure full compliance with Qatar Financial Markets Authority (QFMA) regulations and internal policies.
- Prepare periodic reports on sales performance, client activity, and market trends.
- Participate in marketing campaigns and promotional activities related to equity products.
- Maintain strict confidentiality of client data and financial information.
- Bachelor s degree in Finance, Economics, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Minimum 3 years of experience in equity sales or capital markets.
- Strong knowledge of stock exchanges, equity instruments, and market operations.
- Professional certifications (e.g., CISI, IFQ) are an advantage.
- Strong sales, negotiation, and relationship management skills.
- Excellent communication and presentation abilities.
- Solid understanding of financial markets and investment risks.
- High level of integrity and regulatory awareness.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet sales targets.
- Proficiency in CRM systems and financial platforms.
- Fluency in English; Arabic is an advantage.
- Strong sales, negotiation, and relationship management skills.
- Excellent communication and presentation abilities.
- Solid understanding of financial markets and investment risks.
- High level of integrity and regulatory awareness.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet sales targets.
- Proficiency in CRM systems and financial platforms.
