Roles & Responsibilities


Equity Sales Executive

The Equity Sales Executive is responsible for promoting and selling equity investment products and services, building and maintaining long-term client relationships, and achieving sales targets in full compliance with applicable regulatory and compliance requirements.

Key Duties & Responsibilities
  • Promote and sell equity investment products and services to individual and institutional clients.
  • Acquire new clients and expand existing client portfolios in line with the company s sales strategy.
  • Present equity products professionally, ensuring proper disclosure of risks in accordance with regulatory requirements.
  • Monitor equity market movements and provide clients with general market updates within the approved scope.
  • Build and maintain strong, long-term professional relationships with clients.
  • Coordinate closely with Trading, Compliance, and Client Services teams to ensure high service standards.
  • Ensure full compliance with Qatar Financial Markets Authority (QFMA) regulations and internal policies.
  • Prepare periodic reports on sales performance, client activity, and market trends.
  • Participate in marketing campaigns and promotional activities related to equity products.
  • Maintain strict confidentiality of client data and financial information.
Qualifications & Experience
  • Bachelor s degree in Finance, Economics, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in equity sales or capital markets.
  • Strong knowledge of stock exchanges, equity instruments, and market operations.
  • Professional certifications (e.g., CISI, IFQ) are an advantage.
Skills & Competencies
  • Strong sales, negotiation, and relationship management skills.
  • Excellent communication and presentation abilities.
  • Solid understanding of financial markets and investment risks.
  • High level of integrity and regulatory awareness.
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet sales targets.
  • Proficiency in CRM systems and financial platforms.
  • Fluency in English; Arabic is an advantage.
