Job Description

Roles & Responsibilities

Job Overview: We are seeking an experienced ERP Analyst to supervise configuration and support existing tenants of Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations. He will bridge the gap between business needs and technical solutions, focusing on Project Management, Supply Chain, and Production modules.

Key Responsibilities

  • Requirements Gathering & Analysis: Collaborate with business departments to gather and analyze their financial, supply chain, and operational requirements. Conduct regular workshops to understand current processes and identify areas for improvement.

  • Automation & Optimization: Proactively identify and propose opportunities for automation or customization to eliminate repetitive manual tasks from end-users. Design automation solutions for ensuring higher productivity and user satisfaction.

  • Solution Design & Configuration: Design and configure D365 F&O solutions that align with business requirements, focusing on modules such as Sales, Project Management, Inventory, Material Planning (MRP), Procurement, and Production Planning – including workflow design, system configuration & parameterization.

  • Functional Specifications: Design functional specifications documents for customizations and integrations.

  • Process Improvement: Work on business process improvements by analyzing existing workflows and recommending optimizations using D365 F&O standard features. • Implementation Lifecycle: Responsible for the implementation/deployment process, including data migration strategies, system integration, and deployment of the solution.

  • Testing: Develop and execute test plans to validate that the solution meets all functional and performance requirements. Ensure the solution is thoroughly tested before going live. • Training & Adoption: Create training materials, documentation, and user manuals. Conduct training sessions to educate users on how to effectively use D365 F&O and provide post-go-live support.

  • Issue Resolution: Responsible for the identification and resolution of all issues discovered during the testing phase or post-deployment. • Documentation: Responsible for the documentation of all requirements, configurations, customizations, processes, and user manuals related to the implementation.

  • Reporting: Generate and maintain digital adoption reports that provide insights into f inancial performance, operational efficiency, and system usage.

  • Communication: Communicate effectively with all business users and IT Lead, providing updates on project progress and addressing any concerns.

  • ERP administration: Perform D365 F&O administrative tasks including user setup, security roles, batch jobs, and Data Management (import & export).

  • Technology update: Stay up to date with the latest industry developments and product updates related to Dynamics 365 Finance and Operations.

  • Master Data Management: Oversee and maintain master data integrity, including the creation, cleansing, and process improvement of key entities such as Item Masters, Customers, and Vendors.

Desired Candidate Profile

A degree in MIS, Computer Science, or a related field.

  • Proven experience as a Functional Consultant implementing and supporting

Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance and Operations, with a focus on financial and

supply chain modules.

  • Strong understanding of D365 F&O modules including Sales, Supply Chain

Management, MRP, Inventory, and Procurement is a must. Knowledge of Finance

modules like AR/AP and general ledger is preferred.

  • Knowledge of financial processes, supply chain management, and operations, with

the ability to translate business needs into functional solutions is a must.

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to explain

technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders using presentations and

diagrams is a must.

  • Strong problem-solving abilities, with the capability to analyze complex business

processes and develop effective solutions, is a must.

  • Experience managing or coordinating multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring

timely and successful delivery is a must.

  • Candidates with Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations certifications (like MB-300,

MB-310, MB-330) are preferred.

  • Familiarity with Power Platform (Power Automate, Power Apps) for workflow

automation is preferred.

  • Experience with automated testing tools like RSAT (Regression Suite Automation

Tool) is preferred.
