Job Description
Roles & Responsibilities
As part of the digital transformation of its information system, Questel is deploying an integrated ERP solution covering finance, sales administration, purchasing, and human resources. This major, international project involves a phased rollout across all of the group's subsidiaries.
Within the ERP department and under the responsibility of the ERP Manager, you play a key role in the integration, architecture, stabilization and continuous evolution of the information system in a multicultural and multi-site environment.
MAIN MISSIONS
Integration and development
- Design, develop and maintain API interfaces and connectors between the ERP and third-party applications.
- Participate in the ERP deployment phases in the group's international subsidiaries.
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of integration processes.
Information system architecture
- To implement and develop the technical architecture of the IS in line with business needs and the group's strategy.
- Keep the architecture documents up to date (infrastructure diagrams, data flows, application mapping).
- Proactively propose technical improvements, architectural optimizations and innovative solutions tailored to the group's challenges.
- Participate in key technical decisions in conjunction with the ERP Manager and infrastructure teams.
Supervision and operation
- Ensure the monitoring of system performance and application availability.
- Supervise and administer Docker environments (deployment, container management, orchestration, image updates).
- Administer Windows Server and Linux environments (installation, configuration, security, updates).
- Identify and resolve technical incidents related to infrastructure and ERP.
- Ensure technical coordination between the infrastructure team and the ERP team.
Managing updates and upgrades
- Plan and manage ERP version upgrades (patches, minor and major updates) in conjunction with the vendor and business teams.
- Manage upgrades of IT system tools and technical components (OS, Docker, SQL Server, Node-RED, JavaScript libraries, web servers, etc.).
- Qualify and test each update in a staging environment before deployment to production.
- Document update procedures and ensure traceability of versions in production.
- Manage dependencies between components to ensure compatibility during version upgrades.
Technology watch
- Ensure active and regular monitoring of ERP developments, new versions of the tools used, and security patches.
- Follow publisher roadmaps and anticipate the impacts of changes on the group's IT system.
- Identify and evaluate new technologies or practices that could improve the performance, security or maintainability of the IS.
- Share the previous day's results with the team and formulate reasoned recommendations.
Desired Candidate Profile
PROFILE SOUGHT
Education (Bachelor's +3 to Master's +5) in computer science, information systems or equivalent.
Minimum experience 2 to 4 years in a similar position (system administrator, infrastructure engineer, ERP integrator or DevOps).
Technical skills
- Proficiency in relational databases, particularly SQL Server.
- Proven experience in API development and management (REST/SOAP).
- Good command of Windows Server and Linux environments.
- Proficiency in Docker and container management.
- Experience in managing version upgrades and qualifying updates.
- Experience in setting up IT architectures and writing architecture documents.
- Knowledge of best practices for backup, maintenance and business continuity.
- Familiarity with stream integration tools (Node-RED or equivalent).
- Knowledge of business processes (finance, sales, purchasing, HR) is appreciated.
Language skills
- Fluency in French (written and spoken) is required.
- Professional English (written and spoken) is mandatory, in an international work context.
