Estimation Engineer - Contracting BIN GHALIB ENGINEERING ENTERPRISES

Analyse plans, bills of quantities and other project documentation in order to estimate costs

Attend Management meetings and Prepare reports as per instruction from Management / HOD

Attend to any technical clarifications / engineering support from the sales engineers

Carry out all necessary sizing and selection of products/ system as per datasheets in complete compliance with customer and industry specifications and standards

Compliance statement preparation with accuracy

Coordinate and handle inquiries for sub contract works as per procedure and include the best solution in estimation (quality, delivery and cost) Discuss all estimations for pricing and technical aspects as per procedure

Ensure ISO procedure compliance with regards to all documentation and processes Ensure updated price lists are maintained and used at all times

Establish and maintain relationships with contractors and vendors Liaise with stakeholders and support management decisions by providing appropriate cost information and data

Prepare accurate estimations by following applicable engineering, customer standards and local/ international regulations and submit estimations as per deadline

Prepare and maintain: Engineering Catalog Library, relevant engineering standards and local/ international rules and regulations, standard end-user and consultant specifications, standard engineering charts, calculations, standard technical submittals

Prepare required submittals and accurate compliance statements as per requirements Research and development activities as per management instructions

Research, source, negotiate and obtain the best prices and quotes from suppliers and subcontractors Right product/BOM selection based on Customer Specifications

Site Visits to gather all information and data necessary to prepare cost estimates

Submit the estimations as per the deadline ensuring priorities, RFQ management etc.

Tender costing and procedures to ensure all documentation is completed within time in coordination with Finance/ QA/ HR etc.
