Estimation Engineer Stallion Metal Works

We are a metal fabrication company based in Dubai, UAE. We are looking for a skilled draftsman/estimation engineer to join our team, you will be responsible for preparing accurate cost estimates for projects and producing detailed shop drawings upon approval. Your work will directly influence the success of each job - from quoting to final production.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare detailed, accurate project cost estimates and quotations based on client specifications, drawings, and site conditions

• Collaborate with sales and operations team for timely submission of quotations

• Develop comprehensive shop drawings for fabrication, ensuring compliance with industry standards and project requirements

• Conduct site visits to gather project-specific measurements, details, and information as needed

• Ensure all designs are accurate, practical and optimized for production

• Coordinate with production team to resolve design/fabrication issues to ensure smooth project execution

• Maintain organized records of estimates, revisions, and finalized drawings

• Stay updated with material costs, fabrication techniques, and industry standards to maintain precise estimation capabilities

  
  

Requirements:

• Proven experience in a similar role within the metal fabrication industry

• Strong understanding of fabrication processes, materials, and structural principles

• Excellent attention to detail and ability to spot inconsistencies in drawings or specs

• Ability to accurate estimate material, labor, and time requirements for projects
