Job Description

Roles & Responsibilities

  1. Lead end-to-end cost estimation and tender preparation for infrastructure & road projects

  2. Prepare accurate cost estimates aligned with drawings, specifications, and client requirements

  3. Review and analyze tender documents, BOQs, IFC drawings, and construction methodologies

  4. Perform detailed quantity take-offs and pricing analysis

  5. Develop competitive bid strategies and cost optimization plans

  6. Conduct risk analysis and value engineering during tender stage

  7. Coordinate with suppliers, subcontractors, consultants, and internal departments for pricing inputs

  8. Analyze historical cost data, productivity rates, and market trends for estimation accuracy

  9. Support management during tender submissions, technical clarifications, and negotiations

  10. Maintain and update cost databases, estimation benchmarks, and resource libraries

  11. Collaborate with Planning, Engineering, Commercial, and Project teams


� Mandatory Requirements (High Search Keywords) ✔️ 15+ years total experience in Construction Estimation ✔️ Strong UAE experience in Infrastructure, Roads, Utilities, Earthworks, and Civil Projects ✔️ Expert in BOQs, Tendering, Cost Estimation, Quantity Take-Offs, and Pricing ✔️ Experience with RTA / ADM / ADNOC / Municipality / Infrastructure Authorities (preferred) ✔️ Proven experience in Budgeting, Bid Management, and Commercial Evaluation ✔️ Strong knowledge of UAE construction market rates and subcontractor networks ✔️ Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering (Mandatory)

Desired Candidate Profile

  • Degree in Engineering / Construction Management or related discipline

  • Professional certification such as CCEA / MRICS / Equivalent preferred

  • Proficiency in:

    • Primavera P6

    • MS Project

    • Cost Estimation Software / Excel Advanced Modeling

  • Strong analytical, negotiation, and leadership skills

  • Ability to manage multiple tenders under tight deadlines
