Roles & Responsibilities
Analyze project specifications, blueprints, and proposals to determine the scope of work and accurately estimate material, labor, and equipment costs for commercial kitchen equiment projects.
Prepare detailed and competitive bids, including pricing, clarifications, and exceptions, ensuring all project requirements are addressed and profitability is maintained.
Collaborate with architects, contractors, and vendors to gather necessary information, clarify project details, and negotiate pricing to secure favorable terms.
Conduct site visits to assess existing conditions, identify potential challenges, and gather information for accurate estimation of installation and service costs.
Desired Candidate Profile
Possesses a Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field, demonstrating a solid foundation in construction principles.
Holds relevant certifications, such as Certified Professional Estimator (CPE) or similar, showcasing commitment to industry standards.
Exhibits a minimum of 5 years of proven experience in estimating commercial kitchen equipment projects, offering a wealth of practical knowledge.
Demonstrates proficiency in reading and interpreting blueprints, technical drawings, and specifications, ensuring accurate project understanding.
