Job Description

The Estimator-Exhibition Interior plays a crucial role in the planning and execution of exhibition projects. This role requires a detail-oriented professional who can accurately estimate costs and resources required for exhibition interiors. Working closely with design, production, and client service teams, the Estimator ensures projects are financially viable and meet client expectations. An Estimator-Exhibition Interior must possess excellent analytical skills, a strong understanding of construction materials and project management principles, and the ability to work under tight deadlines. This role demands effective communication and collaboration skills, as the Estimator often liaises with multiple stakeholders including vendors, contractors, and clients. The ability to foresee potential challenges and mitigate risks is also critical for success in this position.


Responsibilities
  • Analyze project specifications and materials to prepare detailed cost estimates.
  • Collaborate with design teams to ensure budget alignments for exhibition interiors.
  • Review and interpret blueprints, schematics, and architectural documents accurately.
  • Determine project feasibility by researching and sourcing appropriate materials.
  • Prepare and present cost reports and project forecasts to stakeholders.
  • Maintain and update pricing databases to reflect current market conditions.
  • Negotiate costs and contracts with vendors and subcontractors effectively.
  • Monitor actual costs against budgeted targets throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Identify and evaluate potential risk factors impacting project costs and timelines.
  • Liaise with procurement teams to ensure timely sourcing of required materials.
  • Provide support to project managers in budget management and cost control.
  • Document all cost-related activities and maintain records for future analysis.

Requirements
  • Bachelor s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field.
  • Proven experience as an Estimator in the exhibition or interior design industry.
  • Strong analytical and mathematical skills with attention to detail.
  • Proficiency in estimation software and Microsoft Office suite, especially Excel.
  • Excellent communication skills for effective collaboration with diverse teams.
  • Familiarity with current market trends and pricing in construction materials.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet strict deadlines.
