Job Description

Roles & Responsibilities

  • Review project specifications, drawings, and scope to prepare accurate cost estimates. Participate in pre-bid meetings and gather relevant data for pricing. Analyze blueprints and technical documents to determine material, labor and time requirements. Request and evaluate quotations from suppliers and subcontractors. Maintain records of historical pricing, past estimates, and actual project costs. Assist in preparing budgets, tender documents, and proposals. Coordinate with the production and procurement teams to align estimates with actual capabilities. Track market rates and trends to ensure competitive and updated pricing. Prepare estimate vs actual reports for completed projects. Support the sales or project team with technical queries related to estimation

Desired Candidate Profile

Strong ability to read and interpret technical drawings and blueprints. Proficient in AutoCAD. Good understanding of CNC machines, PLC systems, and fabrication processes. Ability to prepare basic fabrication/shop drawings. Strong numerical and analytical skills. Familiar with Microsoft Office and estimation software tools. Detail-oriented with a focus on accuracy and quality.
