Job Description
Roles & Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive cost analysis by evaluating blueprints, specifications, and other documentation to prepare accurate estimates.
- Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and architects to gather necessary information for cost estimation and to validate project feasibility.
- Research and assess material and labor costs by contacting suppliers, subcontractors, and vendors to ensure competitive pricing.
- Prepare detailed bid proposals and cost breakdowns, presenting them to stakeholders with clarity and transparency.
Desired Candidate Profile
Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, or a related field is preferred.
Minimum of0-2 years of experience in construction estimating or a similar role within the industry.
Professional certifications such as Certified Estimating Professional (CEP) or Associate Constructor (AC) are highly desirable.
Proven experience with construction software and tools like Sage Estimating, Bluebeam, or similar platforms.
