Job Description
Roles & Responsibilities
- Study tender documents, drawings, and specifications related to joinery and loose furniture works.
- Prepare detailed cost estimates and Bills of Quantities (BOQs) for:
- Joinery works (custom furniture, wardrobes, kitchens, wall paneling, doors, counters, etc.)
- Loose furniture (tables, chairs, sofas, case goods, bespoke furniture).
- Analyze labor, material, machinery, finishes, hardware, accessories, and subcontract costs.
- Review specifications to ensure compliance with project and client requirements
- Liaise with production, procurement, and project teams to align estimates with execution capabilities.
Desired Candidate Profile
- Strong knowledge of joinery manufacturing and furniture production processes.
- Ability to read and interpret architectural, interior, and shop drawings.
- Proficiency in MS Excel and estimation tools.
- Strong analytical, negotiation, and communication skills.
- High attention to detail and ability to meet tight deadlines.
