Job Description
Roles & Responsibilities
We are looking for an experienced MEP Quantity Estimator to prepare accurate cost estimates, bills of quantities, and tender submissions for MEP projects including HVAC, plumbing, drainage, firefighting, electrical, and ELV systems.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare detailed MEP quantity take-offs from tender drawings and specifications.
- Develop BOQs and cost estimates for new tenders and variations.
- Obtain and evaluate supplier and subcontractor quotations.
- Prepare tender submissions including pricing schedules and compliance documents.
- Maintain a database of unit rates and material costs.
- Support interim valuations, final accounts, and variation claims.
Desired Candidate Profile
Bachelor's degree in Mechanical/Electrical Engineering or Quantity Surveying. Minimum 3 5 years MEP estimation experience in a GCC contracting environment. Strong knowledge of HVAC, plumbing, electrical, firefighting, and ELV systems. Proficiency in MS Excel (advanced). Ability to read MEP drawings and specifications. Familiarity with Oman regulations (DIAM, Haya, OETC/Muscat Electricity) is preferred.
