Job Description

Roles & Responsibilities

We are seeking highly skilled and experienced Estimators / Quantity Surveyors (Civil & Mechanical) with a strong background in large-scale Oil & Gas construction projects. The ideal candidates will be responsible for preparing accurate cost estimates, evaluating project requirements, and supporting tender submissions for high-value projects in the UAE and Qatar.

  • Review tender documents, specifications, and drawings to understand project scope.
  • Prepare detailed cost estimates for materials, labor, equipment, and subcontract works.
  • Conduct market research to identify competitive suppliers and subcontractors in the UAE and Qatar.
  • Collaborate with the engineering and procurement teams to ensure accuracy and feasibility of cost proposals.
  • Prepare and submit technical and commercial bids within given deadlines.
  • Analyze cost variances and provide value engineering recommendations to optimize budgets.
  • Maintain updated records of cost databases and pricing trends.

Desired Candidate Profile

  • Bachelor’s degree in Civil or Mechanical Engineering.
  • Minimum 10 years of experience in estimating/quantity surveying for Oil & Gas construction projects.
  • Mandatory: Proven project experience in Qatar.
  • Strong knowledge of local market conditions, suppliers, and subcontractors in UAE and Qatar.
  • Proficiency in estimating software and MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
  • Excellent analytical, numerical, and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong communication and negotiation abilities.
  • Ability to work under tight deadlines with accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Willingness to work in UAE and/or Qatar as per project requirements.
