Job Description & Summary

As a Funding Specialist within EAIC, you will be the point of contact on Alliance partner funding programs across EMEA. You will work hand-in-hand with Alliance Drivers, Marketers, and account teams to ensure that funding opportunities from partners such as Microsoft, Google, Oracle, SAP, Salesforce, and AWS are fully understood, well-utilised, and properly executed across migrations, POCs, marketing, GTM activities, and new partner programs.

This role blends deep funding programme knowledge with hands-on operational support. You will help teams prepare data, navigate ad-hoc funding requests, draft and review SOWs that cannot be automated, and follow up on the items that fall outside what the Funding Platform and AI agents can handle on their own. You will be the human expertise that complements automation making sure the funding process runs smoothly end-to-end.

Key Responsibilities (Associate)

Develop and maintain a deep working knowledge of Alliance partner funding programs across Microsoft, Google, Oracle, SAP, Salesforce, AWS, and other EMEA Alliance partners including eligibility criteria, processes, deadlines, and reporting requirements.

Act as the go-to funding expert for Alliance Drivers, Marketers, account teams, and territories across EMEA answering questions, providing guidance, and helping teams maximise funding utilisation.

Support drivers and account teams in preparing the data, documentation, and inputs required to submit and manage funding requests with partners.

Handle ad-hoc funding requests and edge cases that fall outside the standard templates and automated workflows on the Funding Platform.

Draft, review, and refine Statements of Work (SOWs) and supporting documentation that cannot be generated by AI agents ensuring accuracy, alignment with partner requirements, and quality before submission.

Follow up on funding opportunities, approvals, claims, and outstanding items where manual intervention or partner engagement is required, closing the loop on items the platform cannot complete autonomously.

Partner with the Funding Platform Admin and AI & Automation Developers to feed back process insights, edge cases, and improvement ideas helping evolve the platform and AI agents to cover more scenarios over time.

Support the monthly funding tracking and review process helping drivers and marketers interpret agent outputs, address flagged items, and ensure data completeness and accuracy.

Contribute to consolidated funding reporting and insights for EAIC leadership, highlighting utilisation, gaps, and opportunities across alliances and territories.

Maintain up-to-date documentation, playbooks, and FAQs on Alliance funding programs and processes for use by Alliance teams and ETIC colleagues.

Stay current on changes to partner funding programs and proactively communicate updates and implications to relevant Alliance teams.

Skills & Qualifications

1 3 years of experience in alliance partner funding, channel/partner operations, vendor co-investment programs, or a closely related area ideally with exposure to one or more of Microsoft, Google, Oracle, SAP, Salesforce, or AWS funding programs.

Solid understanding of how partner funding mechanisms work including co-marketing funds, MDF, migration/POC funding, GTM investments, and program-specific initiatives.

Experience preparing or reviewing SOWs, funding proposals, claims, and supporting documentation in a partner or alliance context.

Strong analytical and organisational skills, with the ability to manage multiple funding requests, deadlines, and stakeholders in parallel.

Advanced proficiency in Excel and the Microsoft 365 suite; comfort working with Power Platform-based tools (Power Apps, Power Automate, SharePoint) and Salesforce as a user.

Comfortable working alongside AI agents and automation able to identify what should be automated vs. handled manually, and to provide structured feedback to platform and developer teams.

Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English, with the ability to engage senior Alliance leaders, drivers, marketers, and partner contacts.

Attention to detail, strong ownership mindset, and a proactive approach to following up and closing open items.

Collaborative mindset with a passion for learning, continuous improvement, and helping teams operate more effectively.

Consulting, alliance management, or corporate finance background is a plus.
