Job Description & Summary:

These individuals analyse client needs, implement software solutions, and provide training and support for seamless integration and utilisation of business applications, enabling clients to achieve their strategic objectives.

Those in Salesforce service at PwC will specialise in providing consulting services for Salesforce applications related to customer service and support. You will analyse client requirements, implement software solutions, and provide training and support for seamless integration and utilisation of Salesforce service applications. Working in this area, you will enable clients to optimise their customer service processes, enhance customer satisfaction, and achieve their strategic objectives.

As a Salesforce Marketing Cloud Developer, you will be responsible for building and implementing marketing automation solutions using the Salesforce Marketing Cloud platform. Also, design, develop, and deploy email campaigns, customer journeys, and integrations, leveraging tools like AMPscript, SQL, JavaScript, and Journey Builder to enhance customer engagement and personalization.

Examples of the skills, knowledge, and experiences you need to lead and deliver value at this level include but are not limited to:

  • Create and manage email campaigns, SMS messages, and push notifications using tools like Email Studio, Mobile Studio, and Journey Builder.

  • Design and implement automated customer journeys to guide users through personalized experiences using Journey Builder.

  • Integrate Salesforce Marketing Cloud with other systems like Salesforce CRM, data warehouses, CDP, and other marketing technologies using APIs and connectors.

  • Utilize AMPscript, SQL, Java Script, and SSJS to create custom solutions, personalization, and complex logic within Marketing Cloud.

  • Configure data extensions, manage data segmentation, and ensure data quality for effective targeting and personalization

  • Analyze campaign performance, identify areas for improvement, and optimize for better engagement and results.

  • Identify and resolve technical issues related to Marketing Cloud functionality, data synchronization, and campaign performance.

Job Qualifications:

  • Proficiency in Salesforce Marketing Cloud tools: Email Studio, Journey Builder, Automation Studio, Mobile Studio.

  • Strong understanding of AMPscript, SQL, and SSJS for custom development.

  • Experience with HTML, CSS, and JavaScript for email template development.

  • Knowledge of API integrations and data management.

  • Experience with Salesforce CRM and other marketing technologies is a plus.

  • Experience with Salesforce Data Cloud & Agentforce

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills.

Preferred Skills:

  • 3+ years of hands-on experience with Salesforce Marketing Cloud (SFMC), including campaign development and automation.

  • Minimum 2 years of experience specifically as a Salesforce Marketing Cloud Developer.

  • Working knowledge of Salesforce development (Apex, Visualforce, Lightning Components) is a plus.

  • Min 2 Salesforce Certifications in (MC Email Specialist, MC Administrator, MC Developer)

  • Additional certifications such as Salesforce Data Cloud Consultant / Agentforce Specialist are considered a plus.

  • Knowledge of Marketing Cloud Growth and Advanced Editions are considered a plus.
